| Bravo Quebec Victor, a PA-18 Piper Super Cub built in the 1950s as far as I know, sitting outside its hangar. It is constructed, for the most part, of timber and canvas (and sounds like a bongo drum when you tap it!)It has a cruising speed of around 90mph. I had the privilege of being a passenger in this beautiful machine today, and I will be flying it on Friday! In the hangar itself is ZK-XRA - X FLight's aerobatic Extra 300 based at Ardmore. |

Hi Cadi!!
I had to blink twice when I saw your name under this shot! Great to see a photo from you again! A nice way to return - this one looks excellent. Nice straight on POV, the pano-style crop works well too. The details look sharp, and the DOF seems sufficient from f/9.0. Glad you managed to make use of the mint weather we had here in Auckland today.
TFS,
Scott.
