Finally SPRING has Arrived in New Zealand

Yes, spring has sprung in NZ - and how welcome that is for us.

The temperature has been slowly rising over the last few weeks, the sky looks bluer and the days are longer and the nights shorter!!!

I have passed this tree a few times this week and made a special trip back there today with my camera. What a beauty it is - so pink and with the blue sky the colours really showed up today.

So enjoy the blossoms, and remember that our spring means that your autumn is very close for all you folk who live in the Northern Hemisphere!!

Hi Janice, nice lighting and bokeh, the blossom fair jumps off the screen.
We went to the botanic gardens earlier in the week....the cherry trees have almost lost their flowers already, at least three weeks earlier than previous years.
Spring has sprung alright.
Nice to see you posting again.
Pete.

Hello Janice! Nice flowers, nice light and bright, beautiful colours, ideal contrast and sharpness. Original shot. Good luck!

Hi Janice,
Indeed it has, have been seeing these ‘springing’ up all over the place :). Very good use of the shallow DOF, the focus looks nice and precise as a result. Impressive clarity and exposure too, look excellent from where I’m sitting.

TFS,
Scott.

Lovely blossums and gorgeous colours and details.

Wish I was out there with my camera.

Bonjour Janice

Travail très réussi sur la profondeur de champ qui donne une impression de 3D
Félicitations

Sylvain
