Oh, my God, Sweety,

this is unbelievable!! This is really one of those magic moments Nature can give...to your camera!! thanx for sharing this beauty with us! I am speechless about the title too...A Carpet of Fog maybe...but it just doesn't match the beauty of the scene...

hello formidable Sweety.... to be above the layer of fog, that gives a mink pleasant. The photograph is well carried out for framing, perhaps a small lack of color in bottom.

Awesome Sweetie, what a super view. And the colours of the sky are pretty too. I love the sheepskin carpet at your feet. Very well captured, and what a brave girl going up My Eden in the fog. You were up early to be in the city on a holiday.

Hey Sweety..... GREAT SHOT...FANTASTIC...I had a little laugh at your info notes... as I know when its your first time to drive up Mt. Eden.. most of us feel the same.. rather narrow.. and one kinda wants to look down.. but gotta keep your eyes on the road !!..bit scary.. Gee wish I had of seen this with my own eyes.. and the oppurtunity doesnt come along too often, as we dont often get such thick fog here in Auckland....

As for a name..... maybe you could just call it...."Heaven" ?????

This has to be one of the most beautiful, and well composed images that I have seen in some time. There is nothing to add. The softness of the light appearing in the lower right is perfect. Exquisite.

Auckland weather is crazy, but from that craziness comes opportunity - and you did what great photographers do. You chased the opportunity and you captured something magnificent.
Lovely work capturing the silhouette against the sunrise and fog. In all honesty I would have argued against placing the tree in the centre of the shot - to the left or right would have been better - but it's a minor point, and it's a fantastic photo. Congratulations.

it seems that you're very very high, on the mountains, not, higher, in the skys ..and this is not fog, but clouds..
i didn't saw never before fog such similiar to clouds..
i enjoy the view .. to see red sunrays on the green grass on the right. It makes this dreamy composition more powerfull.
Happy tree, every morning seeing this .......
