This does look wonderful Steve. I've never heard of it!!
I love the pond with the snow surrounding it. And that's quite a hill in the BG too. The low sun gives good shadows on the snow too,

Ok, I'm glad this wasn't taken this weekend ... I'd hate to think we're at this point already, although I did hear there was a snowfall down that way lately.

Nice light and shadow, good balance in your exposure and nice sharpness, with good depth of field.

Hi Steven,
A nice capture of the winter snows around Castle Hill.
That is an area I love exploring,especially the area around Broken River cave.
