This worker from the Maritime Museum at Darling Harbour, Sydney was sharing his lunch with these ravenous seagulls.
I got the impression this happened every workday.
The sky was heavy overcast, hence the slow shutter speed. Thank goodness for Canon's IS technology.

That must be altruism at its most pure, feeding seagulls. There is no gratitude, nothing to be gained from feeding them. You don't even feel especially good about yourself because you know you've only encouraged them.

Nice capture, good crop and off-centre placement of subject.
