Cerro Aconcagua is the highest mountain in the western hemisphere at 6980 meters (23,000 feet). The picture is of the South Wall, which at 10,000 feet vertical, is listed as one of the 10 greatest walls in the world for climbing.

I have flown to Santiago Chile maybe 100 times and as you arrive to Santtiago from Bs. As. you always fly by the mountain. And this is the best veiw of the mountain that I have ever seen.
