[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [Spanish]
This is a detail of the laterals of the Glory Hill Sculpture. Its a monument to the Andean Army, lead by San Martin in 1817 to cross the Andes mountains from Argentina and liberate Chile and Perú.

This part represents prior Luis Beltrán, a franciscan prior with high chemical, mathematical and mecanical skills. He was designed by San Martín as the Chief of Artillery of the Andean Army. With other 700 men, he builded cannons, rifles, made gunpodwer and diverse material for the high-mountain oddisea.
