| The homes in the La Boca section of Buenos are all painted a myriad of colours. La Boca means "mouth" in Italian, and the La Boca section of Buenos Aires is near the mouth of the Mantaza River. It is a very poor section of town and some people say the reason for the different colours is because the paint was stolen the warehouses where the cargos of the ships were stored and it was not always possible to get the same colours. |
