The Perito Moreno is one of so many glaciers that form the National Park The Glacier. They all form the Continental Patagonian Ice (17.000 kilometres of extension), one of the reserves of more important drinkable water of the world. It is that 90 % of the sweet water of the planet is in the zones glaciarias: after the Antarctica and Greenland.
For the spectacular of the sight that offers, the Skillful Brown glacier is considered to be the eighth marvel of the world. The impressive mass of endless ice surrounded with forests and mountains is a spectacle that few ones want to get lost. Surrounded with covered with snow summits and forests of lengas and ñires, these ices cover approximately 195 km2 (according to other sources 235), that is to say, more of the surface of the Federal Capital, of which he is to a great distance: 2.800 km. A halo of infinite peace, on the virgin nature, turns it into a great attraction for those who want to enjoy the pure air and the sound of the silence. Sound that interrupts only the movement of the glacier, which constant gives him to the Argentine Lake immense blocks of ice. These, on having parted with the socle of ablation, fall down in the Channel of the Floes, producing a deep and horrifying uproar.
The most beautiful Colossus of ice that it impresses and affects to whom they come here.

This is a stunning composition. Colours pristine and sharp.
