Alejandro, Congratulations! That chunk of ice took hundreds of thousands of years to get to the edge and fall off like that and You were there! Good for you. And good for us you took the photo of the event. TFS, Jing.

You had the chance to picture it! Probably in 40 years it will be impossible to catch a photo like that cause there will be no more glaciers! :(
I believe you the sounds was impressive. I will always remember a couple of years... The sound of ice cracking over the river.. Very curious sound... Like a metalic thunder coming from under the ice and going in the inverse of the water movement! I were stay a good 15 minutes just to listen that sound. The wave would be something powerfull too!
Here in the North of Canada i heard a reportage too about a tsunami a couple of hundred years before... It was a very big part of ice falling into the golf and produce a major wave.
They had that conclusion to explay why the border of the coast have just small trees compare to the rest... Water remove the trees.
Excellent opportunity you had to catch the moment. It's impressive!
Hola Alejandro,
Te felicito por la foto, es impresionante. Ademas de tener la posibilidad de presenciar un rompimiento, lo pudiste capturar excelentemente.
Saludos.

Beautiful scene, you were in time.
I wonder if you saturated tihs shot, the cyan seems exagerated ?
However, nice colors.
Jules, a fan :)
