| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
The Perito Moreno Glacier is the most important of the 13 under protection in the National Park The Glacier in the Southwest of the province of Santa Cruz. An incredible wall of ice of which it spreads along a deep valley. His front has 5 Km from length and any more of 60 mts. of height.
In his advance, he crosses the Channel of the Floes, obstructs the drainage of the Rich arm and there raises the level of his waters up to 19 m on the normal height, as if it was a dam. Approximately every 3 years, the waters contained in the Rich arm newly can exercise the necessary pressure to break the wall of ice of more than 60 m of height and to be spilt in the lake. The uproar of the ices and the waters is such, that turns out to be impossible to believe it: the old Indian gods stop to hear his voice; that of the current man, necessarily, is silenced by him before so many beauty. |

Hello Rafael!
This photo is really surprising, the vegetation here seems to be tropical. It gives strange contrasts with this huge glacier. Nice catch and composition.
Robert
Hi Rafael
Stunning POV and capture. Good DOF and colouring. The glacier is an awesome piece of nature's creativity. Always on the move and creeking and shifting forwards. Truly amazing. THis is a nice composition. Comgrats. TFS.
