[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]
In Argentina, a some people seem to be very poor, and need to ask some money to the tourists to be able to eat something (as everywhere in the world, unfortunately. It's very hard, especially when it concerns children.
PP: converted in B/W, cropped and resized

Very powerful image! This doesn't have the glamour of the "tango shots" but it's a truthful image that make us wonder...

Bravo Bernard!

I agree with your sentiments and you have depicted this difficult situation with great detail and decency. Thankyou for sharing.

Interesting shot Bernard, I got into a conversation with our chief photographer at the hospital where I work about these types of images. He calls them "shock photography" and has conservative ethical values about them. He does not believe they should be done unless a photographer is doing a documentary for a news broadcast or public documentary. He raises some good points and I am sure there are many opinions on both sides of the issue. Anyway it makes for good discussion. Your image shows the harsh reality for so many people. Good shot and best regards, Brent

Beau travail.

Saying it is a 'nice' image would be unfit I think. Shocking, indeed. Your note is true for many, many people all over the world, Bernard. But it is known for a fact that many beggars in Antwerp are dropped of and picked up again by gangs... I think the use of B&W here makes the image more dramatic. Well done, TFS.
