La Recoleta Cemetery is a famous cemetery located in the exclusive Recoleta neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Its also called "City of Angels"
There you can see a collection of monuments, sculptures and varied architecture styles, but what catch allways my attention are the sculptures of angels (and the chain-locked doors with old padlocks).
The dead are not the only residents in Recoleta Cemetery...seems this ivy is very much alive.
I took the photo near the closing time, when sun was hiding behind the cemetery walls. |

Excellent subject and appealing shot. I like the natural framing from the vines and also the spider webs in the hands. Realistic light and good composition. Nice work...keep posting!
It is very nice to see this image again. I've been there dozens of times and see this hands again is very moving to me. I remember this statue covered by dry leaves and also some spider web. Thanks for sharing it.
C'est trop mignon beautiful
