Hi!

Me and my girlfriend on the Salar de Coipasa. It took us two days to get the angles, the scales and the positioning right. But in the end we both had a good laugh (and sore muscles and neck!). At first I wanted to erase the shadow of my girlfriend because you can now see she is standing a few meters further away. But then again, TL is meant to learn things from one another, right? So I decided to post this without alterations.

Hi Joris
Brilliant work on perspective and distance. very successfull optical illusion.
I find keeping the shadow a good idea , that way it's obvious that it was achieved without any photoshopping.

Certainly a funny picture, well staged. In my opinion, it has to flaws: 1. The horizon "interferes" with your subjects and you should have tried to place it above or below the main "line of action". 2. There is way too much sky in this image. From the crop, it is clear that you purposely included this much sky, but I think it would have been more appealing without it. This being said, the models are doing a great job, you captured them very well and the shot is indeed funny.

Haha ... wow! What an achievement! I'm not surprised it took you so long. Whad did you use for your cues?

I guess you could erase the shadow for maximum effect, but what you've done here - and the visible proof that it was done through sheer trial and error - makes it a breathtaking shot!
