Hi

I crossed the Salar de Chiguana by jeep. Looking back I had a marvelous view on the mountains and volcanoes at the shores of this former salt lake. Beneath were the winding tracks of the jeep.

This is the most southern of the great salt flats in Bolivia. The more northwards you go, the more pure salt in the underground. On this photo you can see (in comparison to photos of the Salar de Uyuni and the Salar de Coipasa) that the salt is more dirty, even brownish. Exploitation of salt (edible) is therefore mainly concentrated on the Salar de Coipasa.

Hallo Joris,
Krachtige sfeer dankzij het minimalisme van je compositie.
De bandsporen geven niet alleen "richting", maar versterken ook het gevoel van weidsheid. De wolken in de lucht geven een extra toets.
Kleur is belangrijk hier, al zou deze volgens mij ook gewerkt hebben in zwartwit.
