Neighbors of the Salar




The Salar de Uyuni is one of the most exotic and impressive to see that we have on our planet.

Surprising, is a vast white desert, made of pure salt. When you cross, there is nothing around you in its vast area of 12,000 km2.

The horizon is white and is defined immediately with a blue sky in a spectacular. Sometimes you see a ridge of mountains far, are the Andes, but most of the time, is pure white and blue.

The floor is really made of salt and if you put a little in your mouth, you see only what is salt petrified.

The Salar de Uyuni is a proud expression of nature, beautiful, very special, quiet, white, unmatched. It is a place of freedom, almost religious, it is pure bliss.

The Salar is in the southwest of Bolivia, its height is 3600 meters and is a legacy of ancient prehistoric salt lake.

Hello Sergio,

so interesting your note, such places are worth
visiting and discovering, it seems really different..
vibrant colors and nice glow or outline around the plants,
clear blue sky and an interesting POV.. Looks like a tranquil
place, almost silent... I think you captured all that in this
fantastic shot!

Sim, caro Sérgio. Uyuni parece ser um lugar bem exótico, embora que no interior do Nordeste brasileiro também deparamos com regiões assim.
