I posted this photo with a frame and some minor adjustment, but I'm not sure what I did wrong...

Laguna Colorada, a red (due to algue) giant lake just 1 day south of the Salar de Uyuni, is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to. Utterly silent atmosphere, penetrating colours and desert-like surroundings. I would have felt like an astronaut on Mars if it wasn't for these flamingos being there.

They were nicely lined up on this algue bank. I guess I took twenty photos... couldn't stop.

Hi Joris,

Wow! This is awesome! What a capture - the birds look restful and content in this lake. The colours are warm and inviting though I bet the water would be maybe a lttle caustic.

Superb wide angle composition - the reflections is sharp and very appealing. Well photographed. TFS.
