[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The bird wasn't so lonely actually. There were a few thousands of flamingos, but what a crop can do, right?!
Photo was taken at Laguna Colorada, a red coloured lake (due to algues and iron sediments) at 3500m altitude (for you footers: around 11000 ft).
Made some minor adjustments to colour saturation. The white in the background is a bank of borax. A substance used for the making of cosmetics (soap, shampoo,...)

Hi Joris,
Nice idea to single this one out. A shame about the OE on the water in the BG, maybe crop the top more and leave space on the bottom instead? A very well composed image however, and the flamingo looks nicely exposed. Interesting pink tones on the water.

An elegant soothing composition. I don't actually mind the 'oe' from the water. To me, it adds complexity and provides a wide spectrum of exposure. Best regards.
