Huh. Very striking shot! Amazing to see those long tongues digging into the mango, and with 5 of them in the shot it's obviously a popular food choice!

Not the usual simplicity and composition for this kind of macro, but certainly a shot with plenty of interest.

From the thumbnail, the yellow banana or starfruit, looks like a mouth, & the circles of the butterfly wings look like eyes, to make a face! Well seen, & perfect dof & lighting. Tfs!

Beautiful shot again. Looking at your shot i became aware how much the circle on their wing is a great defense mechanism. In the smaller shot the circles looked very much like eyes that belonged to a much larger creature. TFS
