[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
GOING AWAY

Boats like this are the main transportation media in the Amazon. This one is about to leave Manaus to somewhere in the middle of the jungle.

Note the hammocks on both decks. You bring your own and this will be your bed for the next 10 to 15 days, depending were to you leave the boat.

It is picturesque trips, which is taken by the brave Amazon people or by the ones that think are adventurous (just a question of reference!).

In case you are wondering, a 5 day return trip will not cost you more than US$ 50, including good food. But don’t forget your hammock!

PS: Cropping on the top, brightness and contrast enhancement in the shadow parts inside the boat.

Barcos como este são o principal meio de transporte na Amazônia. Este esta prestes a deixar Manaus para algum lugar nomeio da selva.

Note as redes estendidas nos 2 decks. Você tem que trazer sua própria rede para os próximos 10 ou 15 dias de viagem, dependendo de onde você deixa o barco.

São viagens até pitorescas, que são feitas pelo bravo povo da Amazônia ou por aqueles que pensam que são aventureiros (só depende do ponto de referência!).

Caso você esteja com vontade de fazer uma viagem destas, deve custar em torno de R$100 por 5 dias, incluindo a boa comida a bordo. Mas não esqueça de trazer sua própria rede!

PS: corte na parte superior da foto, ajuste de contraste e brilho nas áreas internas do barco.

Uma ótima apresentação das gaiolas, principalmente o detalhe das redes. Um meio de transporte que muitas vezes é único para algumas localidades da região.
