Picture taken during a boat trip up river Urubu, an Amazonas afluent. About 2 1/2 hours from Manaus by bus then 3 ours up river by fast powerboat (Amazonas North shore).
Several small communities on the river banks are totally dependant upon the river to live.
This is a typicall Amazon image.

Como eu te disse pessoalmente, excelente foto. Uma coisa que pega bem é colocar um pequeno descritivo das condições em que a foto foi tirada (local, situação) - enriquece a foto. Abraço!

Welcome to TrekLens Wellington. Good crop and good placement in this shot, and intriguing subject. I do feel that it lacks sharpness, I found myself squinting at the photo to get a better view.
Why black and white? Wouldn't your subject stand out better against the background if it was colour?
