[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Against a dramatic sky, the entire family goes from their remote village on the Rio Negro banks, to Manaus.
The boat is named FÉ em Deus, meaning Faith in God, very appropriate fro the site.
December 2005 was one of the most severe draughts that the Amazon river has ever seem and these people living from the river have suffered a lot.

Processing was mostly curve adjustment, a little crop on the lower part of photo and the TL routine.

Contra um céu dramatico, uma familia inteira percore as águas do Rio Negro em direção a Manaus.

O nome do barco é FÉ em Deus, aliás bem apropriado para quem vive nesta região e depende tanto do ciclo das águas para sua sobrevivencia.
Em dezembro de 2005, a baixa registrada no rio foi a maior da história conhecida. Deve ter sido pesado para estas familias que dependem do rio para vivier.

O processsamento da foto foi um ajuste de curva favorecendo as áreas escuras para aumentar o contraste do céu, cortar a parte de baixo da foto para uma visão mais panorâmica e então a rotina para postagem no TL.
