Hi Erika, another beautiful shot! Really good idea having a portrait taken like this, with an angle. There is a curve motion created with the face, from the eye at the upper left corner to the cheek and the nose sloping towards the left, then the mouth. I love the cyan-yellow glow here on the face, the tones are nice and rich, and the detail and clarity are excellent. I do think, however, that there should be more focus on the eye. I have made this same mistake before (unless this was how you intended it) when taking a self-portrait, hand-held, just like this. My eye was out-of-focus. But good lighting coming from the left that creates nice highlights on the nose, cheek, and the earring. Although I wish the earring wasn't so close to the right edge because that makes it distract from the rest of the shot. Very beautiful though and wonderful expression captured on her face. Great close-up and from slightly above to show intimacy. Great shot, thanks for sharing!

Interesting portrait Erika
Make sure your focus is always on your subject's eye(s) - lock it on no matter what. Here, the focus is on her mouth and it takes away the real impact of this shot.
Composition is good, expression is priceless!
