Last Saturday , during the XXI REFENO ( XXI Regatta RECIFE - Fernando de Noronha ) at the moment when the boats were leaving my hometown Recife to that beautiful Archipelago (Noronha).
That´s the largest oceanic regatta in South America and in 2009 there were 100 boats participating in that interesting event.
In the backgoround you can see the Crystal Column which is a curious sculpture made by Francisco Brennand a famous artist born and living in Recife.

Great color and detail in this image. You have handled what appears to be harsh light very well. The image has a fantastic sky and the cloud detail is very nice. TFS
