Hello David,
A great capture of a unique moment. Pleasant colours and details, although I would prefer a slightly tighter crop - especially from the bottom. I guess they were trying to sustain themselves with minerals from the damp ground. They do look like a very friendly bunch, and looking at the yellow ones, it's obvious why they are called the flying butter in English ;)
Well seen & captured, congratulations!

je te félicite de cette merveilleuse prise originale, belles couleurs et bonne netteté

Hi David, this is an original catch, first I couldn't see that the yellow things were butterflies but then I figured out that there wings were closed.
And I think that there is a green grass hoper too.
Well spotted and done! Yan :)
ps: Thx for the great review on: "Crawling Tree" :)
Hi David
