This photo is very special for me as is a public homage to my father. I am not pro of posthumous homages, in reality, I think they are dispensable, but this is more benefit for me, leaving me with the spirit lighter and calmer.
Aesthetically, i find this photo very much pretty, what by itself already it would justify it to be here. The expression of my daughter is very nice too, despite, certainly, she does not understand the depth and importance of the moment, but she made it perfect.
About my father, I have to say he was a ‘fighter’ person, as many. He had many rightness and many errors, as many. He had bad days and good days, as many. But, he had great ideas and made great accomplishments, as few. This was one of its remarkable qualities. He was an entrepreneur. And he loved Thaís very much and demonstrated it, at the few moments that they had passed together. But he had his defects or bad habits too, but this is not the time to publish it. In synthesis, he was a good person and we miss him.
In our World, everyday, some are born and some die, without creed distinction, of color, of race, of social classroom. Every day, in all the countries, in all the places, many people are born and die. Nobody escapes to this law. Some are born and die without knowing why they are here? But they live and they die in the same way that those that knows it. The death is democratic. Today is my father leaving, the granddaughter aside and I taking the photo. Tomorrow will be me, joining my father, my daughter taking the photo, and may be my granddaughter aside of my grave. The show must go on.
And what’s the meaning of the life? I believe that each one of us has its proper opinion …
I’m commemorating too the +100 points. I would like to thank all friends I’ve met here whom I have changed impressions and informations that make me better in many aspects. |
