It would be a nice photo, but unfortunately the sun is in the wrong place - this greys out the photo and takes away a lot of the visual appeal. We lose a lot of detail on your father because the water is exposed correctly but your father is underexposed. You needed to face away from the sun a bit...I'd love to see you try this kind of photo again, maybe at a better time of day/ different angle =)
