This is a beautifull shot as well Carmen. Thre is a good emphasis on the child and your point of view makes on think of "taking steps in to the un known" as a child do every day...

Chosing B&W was defenatly a wise choise. In the colour version the colour themselfes conflicts with the motive. they become a distraction rather then emphasising it.

Really nice. There's a story that's captured here. Nicely composed. I think b/w is the right choice, the DOF is good too! One small criticism (due to the time of day probably) the hat and shirt on the boy are a bit overexposed, but this is a small thing.

Very moving photo and note. I bet he could out-crawl me any old day. :) I like the choice of B&W and the framing works well here.
