[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Borboleta means Butterfly in english, Papillon in french, Farfalla in italian, Schmetterling in german, and Vanna (or Psyche, as well as soul) means butterfly in greek. I guess they have as much variety of translations as they have different colors and species. Having said that, I spent long hours and fair amount of patience to get this shot done. I realised that PRO photographers of National Geographic, either have nothing better to do, or they have serious photographic equipment, sort of Nasa point and shoot (fast), or they might spray something of freezing effect on these lovely little flying paints. Gosh, it was hard, so, all I need is you droping me a line saying well done Bruno... :)

Spiders are far easier to get !!! lol

Very very very good colors. Composing it this way is the best for this type of shot. I like how the leaves echoes the shapes of the wings. Congratulations.

You caught her very crisp!
Very well done Bruno :)

Gosto muito de borboletas, principalmente das cores atractivas das suas asas. Esta é muito bonita. A foto está muito boa. Aconselho-te apenas a remover algum ruído com o Neatimage.

Very nice shot and very well framed ! DOF is also well used and the texture of this butterfly is very well rendered.

Bruno, I agree with you macro photography isn't one of the easiest things to do, insects, more specifically that of the flying kind, are very difficult to capture, but your patience has paid off in this beautiful image of the "skoonlapper" (butterfly in Afrikaans).
Well done nice and sharp, good DOF and vivid colours.
Excellent, keep it up.

Nice composition, sharpness ,colors, all is good. bravo

OK, Bruno !
