[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture was taken in a studio. I used only one hazy-light source and depended on the models´ patience to compose the shot. The position wasn´t all that comfortable for them!

They are both friends of mine, Rui and Daniela. Both needed some pictures to promote their work. He is an actor, performer and model and she is a hands model. After shooting what they needed, we tried some more artistic shots for the fun of it!

I used a polarizer filter in order to reduce some of the reflections carachteristic of the black skin.
I shot with Ektachrome film (not sure which one, EPP probably) and then had an internegative made to have it printed on paper. Again, the paper print was larger than my flatbed scanner, so I scanned it in halves and pasted´em back together on photoshop. Cleaned up some of the signs of age from the print (scratches and other damages)and resized to 800 pixels but it is untouched otherwise.

Lucky you to have real models to work with. They understand patience and uncomfortable poses for work and fun. The title was clever idea.

I really like the shot. I am not sure if you had any idea behind it other than to just play but it came out wondrefully. Interesting idea.

Her pale soft skin next to his rich color of skin make the photo stand out. Your lighting is wonderful to keep her skin soft and almost translucent - very female, his harder and more rugged very male.
Nothing but compliment from me.

Very creative Fabiio. I like very much the concept here of juxtaposing a man's dark and muscular body and a female's fair and soft hand. Excellent work! TFS.

Hi Fabio, this is a great image, I love the
'black and white'. Both models are very attractive. The note helped me understand what was happening here, as I could not understand why the hand was pointing at the chin. The gesture looks like what his hand would di if he was 'thinking'. I would love to see more of the pics you took this day. Cheers, Karey

Hi Fabio!
It is a professional work, really. And the digitalization work is perfect - that's the way it should be done: from paperprint, not from film.
The result is a work that makes us think about human society...
