You have captured the glossy shine of the apple to perfection David. It is a great composition with wonderful tones and colours. The freshness of the fruit is very appealing. The apple on the left with the stalk makes a strong point.

That is a pretty sweeeet apple. Love @ center bottom of screen where the water droplet is about to make its fall, it seems. Interesting color on the apples. What kind of lighting did you use, natural or soft light, etc. Overall, excellent job with the Macro. Its vibrant!

Excellent macro David, e x c e l l e n t! I wonder how I didn't see this one before, especially because I have a series of fruits already posted, and red apples are about to be posted next week! :) But this is so much more powerful, I really like your shot. Composition is excellent and you've managed to kept the freshness and the texture of the fruit so well tha I'm really hungry now :)
