[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Lorena e Gemima são generosas com o ar.

(Rew mentioned yesterday that it would be interesting to see the kids from a lower point of view. I remembered that I had taken this one. Though this may go too far, completely reversing the normal photographer-child position.

On another note, I'm not sure I got the colors/exposure right. This was taken as a JPEG, for some reason or other. I'm shooting almost entirely in RAW now and I've gotten spoiled with the ability to adjust the exposure. With JPEG's you have less latitude.)

Different POV ... I think the exposure is fine.

Hi Hugh!
Great perspective...
happy kids just doing natural styles...great framing as well..
now with regard to JPEG, I think the colors are not that off, but there are some pixels..there is no exposure info so cant say much, but you have an excellent gear. Some times the noise may appear when you play with colors (saturation and stuff).
What I have found helpful that I do all my PP work in the 'original' file without reducing the pixel for sizing. My sharpening, saturation and all is done on the 'original:as it came out from the camera, and then I size it the last. And most of the time I wont see any unusual noise or pixel.
I think you have done a wonderful work here.
Cheers
David

Hi Hugh
I like the POV, it's definitely more dramatic - I think this kind of approach has great potential and I applaud you for getting down on your belly to take this shot. Your subjects seem a little uncertain, I'm sure they're more comfortable with traditional photo styles.
I guess I didn't think of what the effect of the sky might be in such a shot, its brightness has an effect on everything else and will have made your overall metering very difficult, which could explain your exposure troubles.
Boy I can't wait to get a camera with RAW, it sounds like it'll really help!!
Good work, thanks for sharing!
Rew

The POV is unusual, but I like it.
