You know I'll be honest, even if it disgruntles you ... and in this instance I don't think it's up to the standard of recent portraits you've delivered.
The wide separation of the two subjects makes this a kind of non-portrait, there's no real connection between them, and the placement of - and light shining on - the chair towards the right-hand 1/3rd of the frame makes it the default subject of this shot. Combine that with the brightly overexposed area top-left, and ... heck, I'm sorry, this isn't good reading, is it?
Having said all that, I do like the POV from which you took Gemima's portrait, down at her eye level, and her placement in the frame - it has the seed of a great shot here.
