Sugar cane plantation zone at the tropical forest region in the State of Pernambuco...
I took that picture last January (2008) but that photo scenery could probably be the same as if it was two hundred years ago! Not much has changed with the land and the local workers over there ...

Oh well, there´s electricity and paved roads (BG), anyway...

As i keep saying - while composition and all the technical stuff matters to a degree, still the story telling is the most powerful bit that catches the eye - look at this tired man wearing rubber boots on a hot sunny day... this picture makes a million words! thanks for sharing!

Nossa realidade retratada fielmente. Aqui so tenho visto a cana nos caminhões que saeum batendo nos carros que seguem em direção contrária de tão cheios que vão.
Esse carro de boi fazia o barulhinho tradicional deles?
