Ninphaea growing from the mud. Taken in the São Paulo's Botanical Garden.

Picture moved from TE to TL, since apparently it does not fit the requirements to be there.

Yes macro should be in TL or in TN :D As for the picture, its beautiful. Maybe i will crop it thighter for the composition and the flower itself is not really focus :D

It would be better if you put the focus in the center of that water lily and the rest will follow with the dof

Hi,

I would agree with the previous critique. The image needs to be cropped largely to get something out of it. I will try to that in WS.

Jayesh

Still a good shot....but referred to previous critiques enhancement need to be done to get more impacts. TL is a place to share what we have in photography . keep it up.

Hi Jaed

I agree it is better suited to TL.

Personally I like the idea of the lily blooming in mud and slime, and I like the corner placement of the flower; I do think it could be a little sharper though.

Rew

Details in the flower seem a little soft and whilst the offcentre composition works well, I think there are things which need to be tidied up (the part of leaf in the top left corner, the stray piece of grass). Also, from reading your note, it seems that the main reason why this wasn't ok for TE was the lack of a note to go with the picture - something which isn't mandatory on TL but is engouraged.
Thanks for sharing
Mark
