Wow that thing just jumps out and tries to bite ya! Incredible detail, you can see the individual pieces of pollen, waiting to be picked up and spread by a bee or a butterfly.

Bonsoir Bruno,

Nice close-up. The Canon S5 IS is a great camera for close-up but its tiny on camera flash give a hard contrasty light. I have a similar camera at home (Fuji Finepix S9100) and when I want to soften the light, I use a small soft box I made with cheap material. Look at my Workshop to see how it is made. Nice work and TFS.
