É festa de São João! (St, John´s party)!
June in Brazil in all schools kids dress costumes and paint their faces to mimic the "caipiras" - the simple people from inner country (from the old times). We have St. John´s party food" - quentão, pinhão, pipoca, canjica - I will not even try to translate these.

Today Gabi was presenting the traditional São João dances at school with her classmates - kids have been rehearsing the dances for a couple of weeks.

I really love this party.

Beautiful girl Robert!! What kind of light was in this room .. just natural light? Whatever it was, is really great. Nice natural colors on her skin and hair.
Cute little make-up and costume. She must have been so proud! Sounds like an interesting party.

Voce não deixa escapar nem festa de São João, heim? O angulo da Gabi ficou legal. A luz do lugar também estava especial. Foco está perfeito nos olhos dela e o fundo fora do mesmo (foco) dá uma dimensão e destaque a foto.
