This photo I like because it appears the Uruguayan flag behind the gaucho, which aid to identify it and to give a context him of national identity.
In addition when being of profile it emphasizes one more a more determined and melancholic stamp of his glance.
It was taken during the week of the chilenidad in which also delegations of Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay participated.
