Esta foto la tome cuando vivi en el campo
minero de Saladillo entre 1969 y 1972.
El camino que ustedes ven en la foto
serpeando es el camino que va a la mina
situada a una altitud de 4,000 metros.
I took this photograph when I lived at
the Saladillo Mining Camp in the late 60s and
early 70s.
The road which you see winding up the valley
leads up to the Minera Andina copper mine
located at the end of the valley at an
altitude of 4,000 metres (12,000 feet). |
