Blue Ice

Another shot from my trip to Patagonia. I took this shot from the small tour boat that takes you along the edge of the glacier. It was a cloudy / drizzly morning, but with the pictures of the glacier, I think it helps since you can get more detail on the ice.
I liked the contrast between the dark rock and the blue ice. An yes, this was the true color. The only post processing I did on this was to adjust levels slightly and do a sharpen edges. |

This shot has power coded into it. The grind between rock and water/ice. It also has an interesting mineral/crystal quality to it that one knows about but can rarely see. I would try to crop it to get rid of the water and focus more on the two main textures, but this is just an idea. Goes to favs. Congrats!

Hi Paul!
Quelle image forte et puissante! On sent le froid qui nous glace, on sent la buée qui sort de notre bouche!! Quel bleu éclatant! Quel bleu scintillant! Quel bleu profond et magique!
Félicitations!
Luci
