[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Last Hope Sound - Seno Ultima Esperanza.
This fiord was named like this by its discoverer in 1577, Juan de Ladrillero, who was desperately searching, without success, the west way out of the Magellan Strait.
Última Esperanza Sound (Last Hope Sound) is an inlet stretching from the mouth of Eberhard Fjord to the outskirts of Monte Balmaceda. The inlet has the characteristics of a tidewater river and drains an extensive region. It receives the waters of almost all the rivers and lakes in the area of Torres del Paine National Park through the Serrano River.

Hello Malgorzata
Very lovely composition of these snow capped mountains.
The clouds on the right coming down over the mountain while the one on the left is untouched adds to give it a bit of a mysterious place.

Witaj Malgosiu:)
Przydalby mu sie samolot albo GPS... ha ha ha. W sumie to wtedy bylo ciekawiej i odkrycia bardziej prawdziwe - liczyla sie wiedza, doswiadczenie i odwaga - dzis raczej klikamy na klawiaturach komputerow.
Cudownie dobralas to fotografie tematycznie, a i ona sma przedstawia kawalek historii i piekny widok:)

Pieknie Malgoska. Uwielbiam takie zdjecia i ciekawe opisy jak tutaj.
Czytalem ostatnio opis wyprawy na pontonie pewnego Polaka co udalo mu sie przeplynac Horn.
Dla takich widokow jak tutaj u Ciebie warto tam sie wybrac .... kiedys ;)
