Beautiful black and white portrait of this man Gerardo. This has a somewhat melancholy or subdued feel to it. Great tones and contrasts, the natural lighting hitting softly from the right is beautiful and brings out the textures of the columns flanking the man. I like his wrinkles and his distracted gaze, but I almost wish he was looking at you more. Do you know this man? I wish there was some sort of note for the shot. Really good balance and composition with him off-center and more near the top, with us following his somewhat downward gaze to the rest of the shot. Maybe next time I would try to use a slightly faster shutter speed to avoid camera shake, but beautiful candid shot. TFS!
