[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I've decided to post an image from my February trip to Peru today - maybe becasue I still have some of them prepared for posting.
This was taken on the way from Arequipa to Colca Canion. It was high enough for me to feel very dizzy and sleepy - at about 4500 metres above the sea level (c. 14763 feet).
The surprisingly green field was full of llamas, vicuñas and alpacas. I was explained the subtle differences, but I am not certain I would be able to tell them.
The area was surprisingly green by contrast to most of the way which was just rock, sand, cacti and strange tufts of grass.

Witaj Basiu:)
Najpierw wyobrazilem sobie jak to wyglada z daleka... i jestem pewny, ze zwierzatka swietnie wtapiaja sie w tlo.
Wracajac jednak do tego co tu rzeczywiscie widac, to oceniam to zdjecie jako bardzo sprawne pokazanie egzotycznego dla nas pastwiska, kompozycja wygladajaca jak mozaika - fajnie sie patrzy.

Very interesting shot with all the textures and animals. I love the green and white, and the brown just adds a touch of interest!

Witaj Basiu! Miejsce wyglada bardzo egzotycznie i troche "nieziemsko"...trawa jak nie trawa i te "jeziorka". Mam wrazenie, jakby ktos na powierzchni wody rozrzucil troche "zielonego", na ktorym pasa sie owieczki. Bardzo ciekawe i oryginalne ujecie. Serdecznie pozdrawiam. Barbara

Patrząc na miniaturkę myślałam, że uwieczniłaś ogromne stado owiec... po powiększeniu okazało sie, że to tak ukształtowany teren, kępy traw porastające kamieniste górskie zbocza i lamy zamiast owiec... ciekawe ujęcie...
