Lovely photograph, timeless and evocative.

May I suggest you try for 800 pixels along the greatest edge, and then adjust jpeg compression to get file size below 200kb?

This is a very nice street shot and shows everyday's life of peruvian people very well.
Conversion to B/W seems to be good here although I'd like to see some more details. But this can be explained by the small size of your photo.
