[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This view is of old town Cuzco and the Plaza de Armas, taken from a hillside above the city. The old town area was the original Cuzco, from Incan times. There are many reminders of the Incas in the area, with many remaining walls and Inca structures. The sreets in this part of the city are cobblestone and many more recent building, from the spanish conquest to present, use the existing Inca structures in part of their construction. One night we ate at a restaurant that had an elaborate Inca wall as one of it's walls. It was common to see buildings where the base of the walls were Incan and after several feet would transition into more modern construction. It was very interesting to see the merging of the old with the new here.

Those Inca walls have survived many earth earthquakes, outliving many more modern walls.
I also have been there, but did not go up the hill to get this nice view.

Hi David
A wonderful shot. I should say this photo is one of the best photos which I have already seen. You did the best. I read your note about it and I found it perfect. I give it useful mark.
Good luck
Saman

Nice and clear shot, exposure and color balance is ok , but simple frame should be better than used.
Congrats..

hi David,
unusual, but interesting.
Nice POV.

best regards, Daniel

A very definitive photo of Cuzco. You made us see more of the city by this very good point of view. Now that I have an orientation of the city it is more interesting to look up close at the buildings. Beautifully done David!

Thank you for your comments o my photo, "Ocean Beach, San Francisco". I appreciate it.

Hi
Very interesting photograph. Old high-density housing and suddenly square with green.
