What attracted me to take a picture of this family is the baby. Having rosy sunburned cheeks with high cheekbones are typical of the Peruvian Incas. It was sunny that day but it was cold. The baby was sniggled tight against her mother's back. With my little Spanish vocabulary, I gathered that the father is discussing his work schedule for the day. They were walking at the center of a narrow street.

Chinchero is located 30 km. north from the City of Cuzco. It is a town of Incan origin. It is 3,762 meters higher than the city of Cuzco and is guarded by Chicon snow capped mountain the year round.

Hi Andre, this really caught my eye. I love shots of indigenous people going about their daily lives. I've noticed in other shots that the people in S. America that live in the harsh weather conditions, always have very weathered faces. Each one of the faces here, tells its own story. Great capture.

Hi Andre! Lovely portrait and happy colors! You are right, the kid really catches the attention. Well done!

Hello Andre,

Lovely portrait from the streets of Chinchero. The composition is excellent with the baby looking at you, and ladies looking away. I love it . Typical costumes for a wonderful postcard from Peru.
Well done,
Robert

Muy colorida esta foto y con una gran manera de captar las expresiones de esos rostros.
Muy conmovedora
