[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken on the trip to Islas Ballestas - the birds' kingdom.

The Ballestas Islands, eroded into many caves and arches, provide shelter for thousands of seabirds and hundreds of sea-lions. Although the islands fall just outside the Paracas National Reserve they are protected by separate legislation. The islands are home to over 150 species of marine bird including the Humboldt penguin, cormorants, boobies and pelicans. Even condors have been known to visit. On the shores can be seen large numbers of sea-lions and in the sea it is possible to encounter dolphins. The islands offer magnificent views and an unforgettable smell. The Peruvians harvest the guano left by birds on the islands every seven years. the guano is one of the best soil fertilizers available.

An interesting POV of this rocky outcropping presented in a well balanced composition , the of the rocks against the sky is quite attractive. We have a lot of statues here that are painted the same way as the rocks in your photo..... the note is also very interesting ...thanks ......Roman:0)

Nie wiem dlaczego ale skojarzylo mi sie to z wyspami Galapagos.
Widac tu sama nature, to jakby swiat z dawnych czasow zanim czlowiek pojawil sie na Ziemi.
