[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken in the harbour of El Chaco from which you can take a boat trip to Islas Ballestas. There were plenty of pelican which were quite tourist-friendly ;) Real show-offs actually, posing for the camera. They may look funny when on the ground, but when they fly, especially when they fly in groups, they are the most graceful creatures I have seen. When I was looking at a line of pelicans flying low over water I realised that they resembled pterodaktyls and pteranodos from the Jurassic Park films.

PP work: rotated 2 degrees clockwise, cropped, cloned out another pelican's feet from top left corner, resized.

Absolutnie cudna prezentacja. Uwielbiam pelikany, a mozna je tu wszedzie na wybrzezu zobaczyc. Kiedys obserwowalem je z uporem maniaka na Florydzie i musze przyznac Ci calkowita racje, ze w locie wygladaja idealnie tak samo jak pterodaktyle, ktore pamietam z ksiazki "Zaginiony Swiat" czytanej w dziecinstwie.
Ten na pierwszym planie istotnie pieknie sie prezentuje - moge sie tylko poklonic za tak wspanialy portret:)))

Witaj Basiu! Wspaniale ptaki! Widzialam je ale z daleka jadac tzw "jedynka" - autostrada nr 1 - wzdluz wybrzeza Pacyfiku w San Francisco, nistety nie mozna bylo sie tam zatrzymac. Dobrze, ze Tobie sie udalo i dzieki temu mozemy im z bliska sie przyjrzec! Ten z pierwszego planu zachowal sie jak zawodowy model, bo pieknie Ci pozuje...jakby wiedzial, ze robisz mu zdjecie. Wspaniale ujecie, kolory, ostrosc i swiatlo. Gratuluje i serdecznie pozdrawiam.:):) Barbara

What an attractive model you had and he is posing beautifully. Nice pose caught and you have shown off the feather details wonderfully. Nicely placed in the frame as well
