Good shot here, Vandana! Well composed, well metered, although perhaps a quick pass of the dodge tool over her face would bring out her features more? I live the little hat!
I can't get over the sharpness of this shot. It's fantastic!

Hi Vandana,
I'm a jewelry person and the first thing I noticed was no rings, then I read the notes and found out that her HAT, is the symbol of her marriage!!! A tradition probably started by a man!!! (^-^)!!!
Wonderful photo, great colors, composition, and clarity, I like the hat extending into the frame!

What strikes me is how dark this woman skin is. There must be a lot of Sun in this region of Peru. The other think that strikes me is that she is working outside. What does their houses look like ? Do you have any pictures?
I like your Peru pictures a lot. You could publish an interesting book out of them.

Grinding corn, I presume. Quite different from us going from the deep freeze to the microwave and get a meal on the table within minutes. Colorful and informative picture.
