As I was going up the stair to the fortified Tower or the Temple of the Sun in Machu Pichu, I was following these three young women. It was a long approximately 24 feet high flight of stair, so by the time we got to the top I was gasping for breath. When I sat down I saw the three women ahead of me trying to catch their breath too. I lifted my camera to take their picture and they gave me their sweet smile. Behind them are the peaks of the mountain range which the pre-hispanic men adored and considered sacred beings and protectors.

Right after I clicked the shutter, the gasping for air was gone.

All attention is drawn towards that excessive and pointless copyright banner.

Hello Andre,

A nice group portrait with super details!
The expression of joy is well captured, and the prsentation has a pleasant offset composition...
And the setting is amazing of course!

Greetings,
Pablo -

hello Andre,
I have hiked up to Macchu Pichu and have also been gasping for air so I can relate.
Sweet smiles of the girls against an impressive backdrop. Nice capture.
I am not sure all the copyright info is needed.
Have a good weekend,
Joni

Nice shot I am hoping to go to Cuzco some day and feel the same sensation taht you describe there , I have felt it many places I have been in the past, but never un cuzco I haven´t been lucky enough yet to visit Cuzco , I live in Peri for 11 years now and I haven`t gone there. It is very expensive for us to go there.
